Embedded AI Lead
AI leadership that rolls up its sleeves.
I work one to three days a week as part of your team and lead your AI projects from planning to software that runs in production. I plan, build alongside your people and align with management and the business teams.
Example
Until it runs day to day.
An inbound document flow that reads emails, checks documents and posts them to the ERP. I don't just oversee flows like this, I build them with your team and stay on until they run reliably.
Who it's for
- You have several AI initiatives and nobody to lead them technically.
- A permanent hire isn't worth it yet or is hard to fill.
- Between business teams, IT and vendors, nobody understands both sides.
What you get
- Technical leadership of your ongoing AI projects
- A sparring partner for management and business teams
- Hands-on development where building it myself is faster
- Steering of external vendors and partners
- Knowledge that stays in your team, so things keep running without me
How it works
- 01Getting startedFirst two weeks
A review of your initiatives and priorities with management.
- 02Fixed days per weekOngoing
Joint planning, visible results at short intervals, regular alignment with everyone involved.
- 03HandoverAt the end
Documentation and onboarding of your team. Then you decide whether to extend or wrap up.
Duration and cost
Many start with one day a week and increase once the first projects are running. One engagement has now been running for more than a year.
Questions about the embedded AI lead
How is this different from consulting?
I don't write recommendations for others to carry out. I implement them with your team and share responsibility for the result.
Do you work on site or remotely?
Both. Remote day to day, on site when it matters, for workshops, alignment meetings and roll-out. I'm based in Homburg, Germany, and work across Germany, Austria and Switzerland.
Can we start small?
Yes. One day a week is enough to begin with. Once the first projects are running, it can be increased.
What happens at the end?
The goal is for your team to carry the projects on. That's why we plan the handover from the start.
